Laser cleaning systems commonly operate at 1080 nm wavelength. They can generate kW's of laser power therefore require laser safety glasses with a high OD level of protection such as an OD 7+.

The LG-998 laser safety glasses shown in the below link protects against 1064 nm with an OD 10+ and 100nm with an OD 7+ and have an L rating of LB9 and LB7 which is required by Australian laser safety standards. They also provide also clear visibility.
