The LG-1080s laser goggles have an excellent OD 7+ from 790nm up to 1080nm wavelengths. 1080 nm lasers are commonly used in high power laser cleaning applications and require laser goggles with very high OD levels of 7+ and LB6 or LB7 L ratings. The LG-1080s have a high VLT ( Visible Light Transmission ) of 55% and are a modern wrap around style with removeable Rx insert allowing prescription glasses to be fitted underneath.
