810nm and 808nm is the most common wavelength used in hair removal lasers and its covered by a wide range of laser safety glasses.  When choosing the best pair for your 810 nm laser it is useful to firstly consider if other wavelengths or laser types will need to be covered or not.  For example many types of glasses will cover both 810nm and 1064nm such as the LG-001, LG-001N, LG-002 or LG-002N.

If you are only requiring the 810 nm to be protected against then it is best to choose eyewear that is specifically designed for this wavelength such as the LG-016 or LG-016N which cut down 810nm and 808 nm by OD 6 (1,000,000X attenuation).  Due to being specifically designed for 810nm they have the benefit of very high visibility of 61% which is beneficial in being able to see clearly when doing the treatment.
