The first main option is whether or not to use a polycarbonate filter lens or a glass filter lens.

The glass lens has the advantage in improved clarity and visibility as well as highly visible light transmission (VLT) of 70-75% providing almost clear visibility. The glass lens also provides improved clarity over the polycarbonate lens and are less susceptible to scratches.
