Laser Protective Eyewear for CO2 lasers Australia

When selecting laser safety glasses for use with CO2 lasers for use in Australia it is important to make sure they are compliant with Australian laser safety standards. 

Australian laser safety standards require that L ratings, wavelengths and Optical densities are marked on the glasses.  

A typical example of L ratings specifications are shown below:

CE-EN207 L-Rating

190-315 D LB7 + IR LB4
>315-398 DIRM LB5
9000-11000 DI LB3

Wavelengths and Optiocal Densities are:

10,600nm (10.6micron) - OD 7+

9000-11,000nm - OD 7+

190-398nm - OD 7+
