The LG-005 and LG-005N laser safety glasses provide exceptionally high protection against 532 nm green lasers, offering an optical density (OD) of 7, which equates to a 10,000,000x attenuation. These lasers are commonly used in ophthalmology, scientific research, marking and cutting, and industrial alignment.

For lower-power 532 nm lasers, where beam visibility is important during operation, the LG-007 provides a more moderate level of protection with an OD of 1.5 (approximately 30x attenuation), allowing users to see the laser while still being protected.
