The LG-008L laser safety glasses are designed to protect against lasers commonly used in fiber optics and protect over the wavelength range from 800 nm through to 1700 nm with an OD ( Optical Density ) of 5+ (100,000X reduction).  They cover the most commonly used fiber optics wavelengths of 850 nm , 1300 nm and 1550 nm.
