A quick way to check if laser safety glasses are compliant for use in Australia is to firstly check they have all the relevant markings on the glasses.  Australian laser safety standards are based on the European laser safety standards and require that glasses have the wavelengths covered as well as the relevant optical densities, VLT (Visible Light Transmissions) and L ratings.
