When protection is required against low power visible red lasers it is often desirable to cut the power down enough to make it eye safe however still allow enough visibility for alignment purposes.

The LG-006 and the LG-006N laser glasses cut down visible red lasers by just over 30X.  They reduce the power of 5mW up to 30mW 630-700 nm lasers down to an class 2 level of less than 1mW.
