CO2 lasers produce a laser wavelength of 10600 nm in a very powerful beam often used in laser cutters. This high power requires very high Optical Densities ( OD ) of typically OD 7+. The LG-009 and LG-009N laser safety goggles provide  OD 7+ level of protection at the 10600 nm CO2 laser wavelength.
