LG-998 Laser Safety Glasses: High OD Protection Across 1060–1100 nm Wavelengths

The LG-998 laser safety glasses are designed to provide high optical density protection across multiple near-infrared wavelengths, including 1060 nm, 1064 nm, 1070 nm, 1080 nm, and 1100 nm. They meet the requirements of Australian, New Zealand and international laser safety standards, including AS/NZS 1337.5, AS/NZS ISO 19818.1:2023, ANSI Z136 (US FDA), and EN 207/208.

These glasses are suitable for use in a range of laser environments where both comfort and very high levels of laser protection are required. The frame is robust and adjustable, designed to be worn comfortably with or without prescription eyewear. Each pair includes a protective case, lens cloth, and head strap, supported by a 24-month frame warranty.

Optical Protection
The LG-998 offers protection for key wavelengths such as 1064 nm (Nd:YAG) OD 10+, 1070 nm (fiber laser), and 1080 nm (high-power diode laser) OD7+. The average visible light transmission (VLT) is 13%, balancing clear visibility with strong optical filtration.

CE Ratings
Certified under CE EN 207/208 standards, the LG-998 carries designations such as LB6 to LB9 across its operating spectrum, confirming its performance under continuous and pulsed laser exposure conditions.

These specifications make the LG-998 a reliable choice for professionals operating Class 3B and Class 4 laser systems in research, manufacturing, or medical environments where infrared protection is required.
